This podcast isn’t dead
- Will record from time to time, a show all in english
- Probably a new website will born from this, I too… like the name!
- Monthly (less frequently than french)
- One feed for both shows, and numbers will intertwine
PodCamp Montréal
- Was a success, we had 263 attendees which is far superior to the first number we fixed
- Wasn’t perfect, there have been some issues and some misunderstanding (won’t elaborate)
- Unfortunately, the french:english ratio wasn’t as close as 50/50 like we would have liked
- I haven’t met enough people, because I had so much stuff to do
- But I’ve met great people for the first time… Dana, Nicole, Tracy, Rob, Alicia, Caroline, Eva, Anne-Marie Spin Le Monde, Mathieu, Marty, Vinvin, Karine, Philippe, Marc
- Most of the people I named are from Seesmic or use it everyday
- Kudos to Pascale, Karine, Olivier, Paul, Mélissa, Charles-David, Patrick, Philippe, Badeddine were volunteers that help us through the weekend, all from Sherbrooke’s University, courtesy of Harold Boeck
- I am brainstorming the idea on Seesmic of doing something new with Marc (Stephen) and Chris (which I haven’t had the chance to meet in person), mixing it up and try something different
- My favorite sessions were by far Enkerli’s Social Academia, Lada & Georges and Scarborough Dude
- I missed so much, thinking of only standing in the hallway next time
- You can visit http://podcampmontreal.org to see our UStream.TV video clips
- Never did Sylvain, which is the instigator behind PodCamp Montreal, thought he could bring this idea so far
- First PodCamp for my girlfriend, and I think she did not expect it to be so wonderfull
South by SouthWest (SXSW)
- Just learn that I might have the opportunity to go to the New Media part
- I want your audio feedback on it, are you excited, do you care about going? Have you been there in the past?
- No idea if I’ll make it to the music gigs thought
- It’s in March of next year, so I might speak about it in the future
Go elsewhere = DicksNJanes podcast
- Scarborough Dude blew everybody away with is awesome conference, speaking from the heart, as he always does
- If you never listen to the DicksNJanes podcast, go fuck yourself as he would say, but I rather tell you to check it out yourself at http://dicksnjanes.blogspot.com
